What a day! The weather was great, the course was in great shape and of course the people were great as well. A special thanks to Dove Sifers-Putman and her crew for organizing our best annual golf tournament ever. Number 21….Can you believe we’ve been doing this tournament for 21 years?
Thanks also to the staff of Carolina Country Club. Club pro Jeffrey Peck, his staff, and Eugene Hendrickson did a great job of getting us off on time and served plenty of beverages throughout the day. Debra Russ and her staff did an excellent job on the buffet with lots of good food and linen service….first class! Thanks to the members of the club for allowing us to use their facility
Fred Howell was back with us this year for pairings and rules making the job of determining the winner basically effortless.
Nancy McEneny and Lori Avery of Lifespan were on hand helping out and reported that Environamics has contributed over eighty thousand dollars ($80,000.00) and the total to date should pass the ninety mark this year. All of the sponsors’ donations (holes, etc.) go to Lifespan along with Environamics matching funds. Thank you sponsors!
